Worship Services

In light of the current Covid situation, St. Anne's has suspended in-person services on Sundays in January. Services will be pre-recorded and posted to this page.  Any changes to the service timing will be updated here.

Continue to pray for all those impacted by the virus and its ripple effect on work and home lives.

Please continue to keep in touch and pray for one another as we navigate these challenging and uncertain times together. Please do not hesitate to be in touch as needed.

Yours in Christ,
Canon Val and the Wardens of St Anne's

Please note that unless otherwise noted, sermons are preached by St. Anne's incumbent rector, Reverend Canon Valerie Kenyon.  Visit our Sermon Archive for previous recordings of sermons and services.

The Book of Alternative Services may be accessed in pdf format pdf for use during the services.

In Sunday’s Gospel Jesus shares his agenda. How and why does this agenda shape who we are as individuals and who we are as a community?

Sermon Text

Sunday Takeaway for Sunday, January 16, 2022

In the story of the wedding at Cana Jesus steps in to make a difference to this young couple on this their all-important wedding day. Jesus performs his first miracle with no real fanfare at all, displaying a radical departure from common wisdom that may have seized the moment to make a bigger splash.
But then again Jesus’ life and teachings would be altogether quite radical. How and where do we, can we offer small acts of love and generosity, just because it will be a blessing to someone?
