Sunday Take Away: Now into this second week of Advent, John the Baptist reminds us that part of preparing for the coming of the Christ child involves the regular practice of examing our lives and our hearts before God, correcting our course as we go, ever open to God working in and through our lives. How's that going?
December 1, 2019 - Sermon Text
Sunday Take Away: As we enter this New Year, let’s spend some time this week reflecting back and with expectation imagining forward. As we anticipate God’s giving of God’s very self in the coming of Christ, what is our response as Jesus’ disciples?

November 24, 2019 - Sermon Text
Sunday Take Away: Heading into this week, we take advantage of the time and the special seasons that call out to us to reflect and to make us wise and faithful stewards of all we have received, and reaching out beyond ourselves, we offer ourselves to God’s service, with all that we are and all that we have, for on this day we remember our King, the one whom we follow this day, and always.

Sunday Takeaway: Our passages in Isaiah today are all about hope, a hope based on God’s faithfulness to us during all of life’s ups and downs; a hope that encourages us to stay open to imagining something new as we go… the wolf and the lamb feeding together, the lion eating straw with the ox. As we begin to fully grasp all that this can mean to us, we are promised a new day of joy and rejoicing, as we dare to lean more fully each day into all that God is and can do in our lives.

October 13, 2019 - Sermon Text
Sunday Takeaway: As we go out into this week to be people of faith in our everyday lives, can we remember Paul's encouragement to us to in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let our requests be known to God in the midst of all our choices? Worship Services
St. Anne's has returned to in-person services.
Please note that as of Sunday April 10th, worship services returned to the church and registration will no longer be required. We returned to offering both an 8:00am and 9:30am services. Physical distancing will remain in place for the 8:00am service only to accommodate those more comfortable in that setting. Masks will continue to be required for all services until further notice.
We have reintroduced the Cup at the Eucharist. As always, the decision to take the wine is entirely at your discretion.
FORTH @ 4pm: Every fourth Sunday at 4pm
A 30 minute informal time of worship. Through the vehicles of scripture and song, we will spend some moments with one another entering in the readings and their message to us.
Continue to pray for all those impacted by the virus and its ripple effect on work and home lives.
Please continue to keep in touch and pray for one another as we navigate these challenging and uncertain times together. Please do not hesitate to be in touch as needed.
Yours in Christ,
Canon Val and the Wardens of St Anne's
